Hi,
I am looking for the birth of Wojciech Mokrzak, born in Rosocha, which I think is in Osiek Wielki parish.
I have a microfilm with a church book index of Osiek Wielki, which shows a Wojciech Mokrzak born in 1805. Unfortunately I can not find the actual record.
Do you know if records from Osiek Wielki has been lost, prior to 1808? If yes, don you know another way I can track his birth/ his parents life? Their names are Piotr and Maryanna.
Wojciech marries in Borysławice Kościelne in 1829, I have the record.
In the records of his childrens births he is called Wojciech Paluszewski or similar, whereas in marriages and death records he is called Mokrzak. Does anyone have an idea why this name change could have happened?
